"Shade Haven" is a public gathering space where the inhabitants of the rural areas of Lunda Norte can escape the heat during the hottest seasons and seek refuge from the rain. By understanding how nature responds to the environment, we designed a pavilion that mimics the strategies of local organisms to survive in their ecosystem.
